We are excited to announce the release of our inaugural scientific article, highlighting the groundbreaking efforts of our research team, PC7, on PandaChat-RAG. This remarkable achievement reflects our dedication and passion as we strive to push the boundaries of text generation technology.

Our diverse team comprises talented individuals from various fields, including artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, software development, design, analytics, and ethical AI. Among our brilliant researchers are Taja, Tanja, both affiliated with the Institute of Jožef Stefan, alongside Primož, whose relentless efforts have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional programmer, Urban, whose expertise was vital in developing PandaChat.

We are not only committed to advancing AI technology but are equally dedicated to its ethical application. We firmly believe that the responsible use of AI is crucial for fostering a positive societal impact.

The publication of PandaChat-RAG marks a significant milestone as it represents the first Slovenian Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) benchmark, built on a newly developed test dataset. This benchmark is a crucial advancement in enhancing text generation capabilities for the Slovenian language.

As we look ahead, one of our primary goals is to establish a premier research center focused on groundbreaking innovations. We have exciting plans to shape the future of AI applications, exploring its potential across multiple sectors. Our research delves into innovative methodologies, presenting valuable insights that pave the way for future advancements in artificial intelligence. By establishing the PandaChat-RAG benchmark, we are contributing to the academic community and laying the groundwork for practical applications that can benefit various industries.
